The kitchen of the house I grew up in had a big picture window in it where my mother displayed her colored glass collection. My mother has now passed away, and unfortunately, much of that wonderful colored glass was destroyed in a fire.
    I asked Carole if she could recreate that window for me in a painting. I knew it was a challenging project, but she did not hesitate at all. She sent me sketches, I sent her pictures -- it was a highly collaborative process. This back and forth went on for months. She was very patient and wanted to get it just right.
     Well about a week ago, I was able to see the almost finished project, and I am just delighted. The big reveal did not disappoint. She even took the time to write a beautiful heartfelt dedication before she showed it to me. I can't wait to get it home and hang it up in the place that has been waiting for it. Finally, I would add the her prices are reasonable -- actually quite a bargain when I think about the quality and the joy it brings me. Carole is a talented artist who gives a little piece of herself away in each of her creations...

Buildings, art, and life that it imitates are best when they include a full range of colors, values, and experiences. Carole’s painting “San Diego” – which I enjoy daily in my office – exhibits that full range, from an aircraft in flight and a peaceful urban street scene, to the colorful pigeons resting ledges in the foreground. Carole is a talented and imaginative artist with a full range of skills.
